Meet Ana Serrano

MPM 14 Graphic Designer

Meet our newest My People’s Market artist, Ana Serrano of @essuperfun, a first-generation Mexican American and longstanding vendor with the market.

Ana Serrano is an artist and illustrator currently based in Portland, OR. Through her brand, Es Super Fun, she utilizes her endearing illustrations to craft a variety of goods, including greeting cards, stickers, and pins. Inspired by all things cute and colorful, she holds a particular fondness for Christmas time, flowers, and sending snail mail. She graduated from the Art Center College of Design with a degree in Illustration. Her previous clients include Pixar, The LA Times, and Nick Jr.

When asked about her inspiration for the market design:
“I’ve been a frequent participant at My People’s Market, and what I love most about it is the vibrant atmosphere and communal spirit. I wanted my illustration to depict people coming together and celebrating each other’s culture in a way that is filled with joy.”
